Behavioral Support

Behavioral services at ICAN Academy are designed to help students successfully participate in the school day. These supports focus on building skills such as communication, emotional regulation, flexibility, independence, and positive peer interaction.

Behavioral intervention is separate from academic instruction. Licensed teachers are responsible for delivering curriculum aligned with Washington State standards. Behavioral services instead target the foundational skills that help students access and benefit from learning.

All behavioral goals are individualized, clinically driven, and implemented in accordance with insurance guidelines and medical necessity requirements.

Our goal is to support students in developing the skills they need to engage confidently and meaningfully in their educational environment.
